If the pattern of this year continues, as I hope it does, the University of Michigan will be celebrating another hockey championship. The pattern, as you remember, for 2011 is that a old champion will resurface. It will not be the current favorite and it will not be a new comer. It will be someone who use to be a champ who has not done for a few years.
Auburn, Djokovic, Green Bay Packers, UConn, and now it shall be the University of Michigan. They took out the favorite North Dakota in an unexpected defensive battle where the MVP of the game was a 3rd string goalie for Michigan. Now, we will bring home the championship on Saturday to add to our already record number of hockey championships.
