So I was having problems with my Verizon Droid 3 where it said no data connection. This was triggered by a trip to Windsor CA. I haven’t had this problem before this and have had my phone for about 3 years. I could text and talk on the phone, but no email and no internet.
I called Verizon 611 but they did not help.
Then I found the answer:
Go to your dialer and dial
Press send key (make the call)
it will then prompt you to enter a code and type spc code of
000000 (6 zeros)
Scroll down to Data Call Settings
Make sure “data call enabled” is checked (mine was unchecked).
Then hit back (there is not a choice for enter or save).
I am now sure why it gets unchecked. It recurred again a week later even without going to Canada and this fixed it again. The fix occurs right away.
